June 21 – 23: Pack 152 Family Camping

This year’s Family Camping event will be June 21 – 23 at Crazy Horse Campground in Brodhead, Wisconsin. All Pack 152 Families and potential families are welcome to join us for a weekend of outdoor fun! Events will include a Pack Breakfast and Pack Hike. An official evite has been sent to RSVP and more details will follow. Please save the date!

Families will need to provide their own camping equipment for their family, but we will share equipment owned by Pack 152. If you do not have equipment, Pack 152 will make every effort to coordinate sharing of extra owned equipment. This is a great time for all the family, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns.

Cost will be partially covered by Pack 152. The price per family will $65 and include a camp site, activity bracelets, and Saturday breakfast.

May 5 – Dolphin Swim Club Water Safety Event

This year’s Dolphin Swim Club event will be Sunday, May 5 at 4 pm. Scouts and potential Scouts will enjoy an evening of swim safety and open swim. Please come prepared to swim with proper swimming attire. Refreshments will be served after the open swim! Space is limited, so please let us know if you will attend. RSVP HERE! This event is for all current Pack 152 Scouts and children entering K through 5th grade interested in joining Scouting.

April 28 – Hiking with the Pack

This year’s Hiking with the Pack event will be Sunday, April 28 at the Jelke Creek Bird Sanctuary. We will meet at the Boncosky Road entrance in Sleepy Hollow at 12:00 pm. Please be on time!

Mr. Perez and Mr. Khoury will gather the group and do a short presentation on hiking planning, first-aid, identifying plants, animals & insects, and the Outdoor Code and Leave No Trace Principles.

In an effort to reinforce our responsibility to our planet, please bring reusable canteens or water bottles. Please be prepared for outdoor activities including wearing the proper shoes, clothing, and sun protection. You can consider bring Six Essentials for Outdoor Activities which many of you received last year. Each Scout should be encourage to carry their own gear! Pack 152 will provide a light snack after the hike.
