About Pack 152

Pack 152 is a Cub Scout Pack for boys in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We are proud to be chartered by Saint Margaret Mary Parish and part of Blackhawk Area Council. Cub Scouting combines fun with educational activities and lifelong values. It also helps parents to help their boys strengthen character, develop good citizenship, and enhance both mental and physical fitness. In addition, the program provides boys with positive peer groups and tools to shape their future.

Pack Meetings

Pack 152 has regularly scheduled Pack Meetings on the first Monday of every month at 7 pm in McDonnell Hall of the Saint Margaret Mary Ministry Building. However, we have recently been making an effort to move our Pack Meetings offsite to provide a variety of experiences for our Scouts. Pack Meetings allow for all the Dens to come together, participate in activities as a group, and be recognized for their achievements within the Den. If you are interested in attending one of our Pack Meetings, please use our Contact Us page to request more information or visit our Calendar!

Den Structure

Scouts in Pack 152 are divided up into Dens by grade. This allows each Scout to achieve and explore with their peers and allows Den Leaders to implement activities and programs that are age-appropriate. Den Meetings are usually held once per month and are comprised of activities that allow each Scout achieve goals that will prepare them for the next higher rank.

In Pack 152, we like to focus on teaching our Scouts through doing. Cub Scouts are particularly receptive when we allow them to learn through experience. In order to foster their creativity and expend their energy, we like to foster the Scout Oath and Scout Law through the following events:

  • Pack Hikes
  • Water Safety Presentations
  • Family Camping
  • Pack Picnics
  • Fishing with the Pack
  • Back to School Picnic
  • Orchard Visits
  • Food Pantry Scavenger Hunt
  • Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children
  • Pack Movie Night
  • Pinewood Derby
  • Overnight at the Museum
  • And Many More!
